Quakers have been meeting for worship in Reading, Berkshire, UK for well over three hundred years.
Each week at 10.30 on Sunday members and visitors, children and adults, meet for silent worship at our Meeting House in the centre of Reading. Children are welcomed and separate activities for different age groups are available.

Reading Quaker History
Reading Meeting has been in existence since the 1650’s and the present Meeting House was built in 1835. Behind the Meeting House is a Burial Ground and Garden, where many Reading Friends have been buried, including members of the Huntley and the Palmer families, whose biscuit making industry dominated Reading for over a century.
